Expected Results

Intermediate results: A number of 14 Deliverables will be provided as intermediate results at the end of each phase. Their role is to synthetize knowledge acquired and to analyse progress made. They will be the basis of activities in Wp5- integrate research results and set up criteria and indicators.

Scientific papers: at the end of phase 3 (Month 35) the project should have published at least 4 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Outcomes: Indicators and criteria for sustainable production of biomass with short-term rotation cultures with respect to protection of climate, environment and local communities needs; Guidelines of best practices in short term rotation cultures for industrial biomass production.
