Suceava  is a 100,000 inhabitant town located 450 km North of Bucharest and is  part of the historical province 
Bucovina famous  for its 
monasteries. 
	   The 
painted churches of northern Moldavia are seven Romanian Orthodox churches in Suceava County,  built approximately between 1487 and 1583.
	   Since 1993, they have been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. 
	   
	   Suceava is also known as a former capital of 
Moldavia principality.
	   
	   There  is an 
international airport in Suceava (12 km from the center of the town, pick-up of  the participants organized by us) which operates  both national and international flights.
	   
	   By  train, 
Bucharest-Suceava travel lasts for
 7 hours. 
	   By car, 
Vienna –  Suceava, via Oradea,  represents approximately
 16-18 hours drive.
	   
	   The  conference will be hosted by the new building of the University (
E building).
	   There  are convenient hotels at walking distance in the town centre.
